Community Action Pioneer Valley's Money Matters program is excited to announce that we are hosting 2 upcoming info sessions on the Advanced Child Tax Credit!
As you are probably aware, starting July 15th families will receive $250-$300 per child each month through December 2021. These payments will happen automatically for families who filed a tax return in 2019 or 2020, or who received the stimulus checks. What: Making Sense of the Child Tax Credit; How to prepare for filing your taxes this year 2 info sessions coming up to answer all your questions When: Wednesday July 14th 12-12:45 PM and Thursday July 15th 6-6:45 PM over Zoom
Who: Anyone living in Hampshire County, Franklin County, or the North Quabbin How: Sign up on our website! Money Matters Program | website (communityaction.us) If the clients you are working with have questions or aren't sure how these payments will affect their 2021 taxes, send them our way! We are hosting 2 sessions so that as many people as possible can attend. The sessions will be identical, so you don't need to attend both.
